Nicestsolution distributes “SafetyBarrierManager” which is a software tool to support risk analysis by means of safety-barrier diagrams. Safety-barrier diagrams present accident scenarios with a focus on safety barriers, i.e. the means to prevent and mitigate the undesired outcomes of those accidents. The tool combines the graphical presentation of safety-barrier diagrams with comprehensive descriptions and relations of the objects in the diagrams (safety barriers, events, consequences, causes). The tool can quantify the probability of the outcomes of the accident scenarios.
